What Paulius meant by arch is architecture. When we talk about arch in Linux it 
means amd64 (64bit) or x86 (32bit) in general. It doesn’t matter if the CPU is 
an intel or an amd. That’s the general annotation. Sometimes they also use 
x86_64 and i686 respectively.
