With mail chain, do you mean that the content of the PDF is automatically pasted into the reply page? If so, this is not possible. With the reply link it's not possible to extract the contents of the PDF. Even if this would have been possible, it would probably not work with the majority of PDF clients since the PDF client should support this. Or do you mean with "mail chain" that the reply will be shown as a reply to the original message (for example in threaded view)? If so I can add this to the new release. I will add the message-ID of the email to which the user will reply, as an In-Reply-To header field. This way your email client knows that the reply was a reply to the original message sent by the user.
