It is not wise to break your installation further.
If that package cannot be update automatically, removing it won't fix
anything, since removing it doesn't fix the dependency problems.
You could try:

  dnf update --best

and if that also fails, examine your installation for retired/broken
packages:

  dnf repoquery --unsatisfied
  dnf repoquery --duplicated
