I would suggest that you un-install the whatever opera is on your system. Then, install the opera repo using (found at rpm.opera.com) sudo tee /etc/yum.repos.d/opera.repo <<RPMREPO [opera] name=Opera packages type=rpm-md baseurl=https://rpm.opera.com/rpm gpgcheck=1 gpgkey=https://rpm.opera.com/rpmrepo.key enabled=1 RPMREPO And then.... sudo dnf install opera-stable This way you'll get the latest version as well as any updates. > > > > Second problem : Also a long time ago , don't ask me when or where I found > opera-12.16-1860.x86_64.rpm and installed it. I know nothing about "Opera Mail". But a google search indicates it is no longer available and no longer supported. But, I doubt older versions will run on the latest versions of Fedora as the library versions have changed. -- The key to getting good answers is to ask good questions. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected]
