That only works if it's not encrypted.  Almost all commercial DVDs are encrypted.

Well the file manager does copy them, I put one in a file on my computer. I wont know if they will play in Windows until I find a Windows computer to test on. I have a /dell notebook I replaced with Fedora but I can no longer read the small screen and it has been on the shelf for a year, I'll put Windows on  it tomorrow.
