I see: I use GV (from F-Droid) which is a frontend for Google Maps, and MapQuest. I am not sure what I miss.



Sorry to respond to my own post, but the maps interface to Google maps I have used for a while is GMaps WV from woheller69/maps on github. This is what is available on F-Droid too (and it is called GMaps WV, not GV that I made up).
