I saw an issue related to 4k/512b devices on the md/fs lists.

Basically if a fs was built for 512 it cannot be run as 4k so it
sounds like there is a significant risk if one was to use pvmove and
move a current 512b filesystem over to a 4k disk.  lvm mght just
refuse to do it.

It also sounds like mixing 512 and 4k devices in lvm/dm-mapper/mdraid
won't really work.   At least some fs mounts simply fail with an
error.

It sounds like it will work for a new fs/md build, but not if adding
to something that already exists.  The md feature was that if you
added a 4k device to an existing md device, then it changed the top
device to be 4k, and then filesystem mounts of that device fail
because of that size change.
