Yes, all modern Linux FSes do that automatically, detect block/sector size, LVM too. It boggles the mind why Samsung chose to _not_ do 4k in a clear & clean manner - some say Samsung do that internally while hiding it away from the OS. It's even bigger shame for Samsung - most of their NVMes - is probably the only manufacturer who support/use LVFS - which is the reason why I'm thinking of swapping to Samsung - if I can find such NVMe which does 4k.
What do you think the benefits of 4K are that you're so set on getting that? -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
