I didn't because I could remember what my credentials were, if I had
even registered as I don't remember ever doing that but if I did it
was a long time ago. I did try to create an account in the system the
registration process pointed me at, but gave up on it because I
couldn't get it to accept any password I gave it.
If you didn't update your subscribed address then I don't see how
you're receiving list traffic, unless you just added a new address.
Most list admins frown on this, but as long as you only ever use one of
the addresses to post I guess it doesn't matter much (though any
historical posts under a different address will not be associated with
you).

When I tried to register my new email address I was directed to an account creation system on the grounds that what I was directed to was what Fedora was now using (I don't remember exactly what the system name was, it might have been something like GCS, but I could be way off with that). When I couldn't get it to accept any password I gave it (and I couldn't see anywhere where it provided feedback on what its required password rules were) I asked for info on this list. I had several people reply that creating an account was not necessary and that they hadn't created one and they had no issues with the list. I didn't try to login with my old email address as I couldn't remember my password and if they sent an email to the registered email address with instructions to reset the password, as a lot of sites do, I would never get that email because my old email address was dead, so I figured the only option was to register a new address. What I'm completely at a loss to understand is, when I was on F42 I had this issue with my gmail address and I raised a request to a list admin around replies not being echoed back to me on the list (email I send from scratch rather than as a reply have never echoed back to me (unless I had my email address as a CC) as I didn't raise that issue with the admin, and the admin rectified the issue without responding to me, or at least I think that issue was rectified, because I suddenly started getting duplicate mails echoed back to me for replies that had me as a CC until I stopped using a CC. So if the issue was rectified at the list end, why would installing F43 on a new device re-introduce the issue?
