I tried journalctl and got the 7 messages below for kodi, the first 6
were from startup but the kodi front end displayed and worked fine at
that point. The 7th message was when I inserted a blu-ray disc into the
player, but I don't understand why that would cause the hang? Would the
first 6 messages also explain why even though kodi seems to recognise my
monitor its resolution for full screen is significantly bigger than what
the monitor supports?
