Are
you talking about some other sort of "kernel changes" or are not
getting the same output as I am?
IIuc, we've established that I'm not getting the same output. So
can anyone tell me how I can make mine match y'all's? I looked through
both man dnf5 and info dnf5, but if that particular configuration is
there, I didn't spot it.
I'm not sure how to change the functionality, what I'm seeing from dnf and what Doug is seeing, has always been the functionality of dnf, but having said that though, what has changed in F43 to other versions of Fedora is the placement of the messages. In earlier versions of Fedora the kernel install message were at the top of the output and the kernel removal messages were at the bottom, whereas in F43 it is the reverse. The displaying of the message has been the default "out of the box" functionality without any configuration of dnf to produce it, so if you are seeing something different then maybe your configuration may be corrupt. You could try removing the dnf conf file and possibly as a last resort, reinstalling dnf.
