Could dnf5 indicate, along with the download count and before it asks

I am confused. I just did an update that included a new kernel and it
shows right near the bottom that it is installing that new kernel. Are
you talking about some other sort of "kernel changes" or are not getting
the same output as I am?

This is the bottom of what I see:

Installing:
  kernel x86_64
  6.18.8-200.fc43 updates

  6.18.8-200.fc43 updates

Transaction Summary:

After this operation, 10 MiB extra will be used (install 1 GiB, remove 1
GiB).
Is this ok [y/N]: y
        Very, very interesting!

I do not see, don't recall ever having seen, nearly so much
information before the "Is this ok [y/N]:".

I'm currently running F43 Mate on three machines behind a KVM
switch, with two monitors. I run "dnf5 upgrade" daily on all three. I try
to reboot whenever I get a kernel update; rebooting is much quicker than
it used to be -- bless all those who worked on that! -- but not
instantaneous (nor should it be, afaIct).

It can happen that not all machines get kernel updates on the same
day. Also the friend who installed the second monitor advises me to keep
each box on both monitors when it's booting. So I upgrade all three, and
only then reboot whichever ones have kernel changes.

I think it would be better to upgrade all, then reboot as needed,
than whatI'm doing now.

Like what Doug said, when there are kernel updates I get those messages at the bottom of the list as to what kernel is being installed, and with dnf only maintaining 3 kernel versions, I get messages at the top of the list as to what kernel version is going to be removed, and because I have colour displays active in dnf the kernel removal messages are displayed in red. For me this has always been default functionality from F43 being installed from scratch, and, also having kvm installed and also running F43 in the vm, I've just done an update in there which is updating the kernel and I get the same messages in there.
