At the current prices, that one looks too cheap to trust. But maybe they are
just slower SSD tech. But then you did get a failure on the first(?) try.
When I purchased my two 1T SSD drives from Crucial they were under $55 each,
but that brand is now up to $162 for the BX version. I got the MX before they
were discontinued.
I am going to take a chance with a Bestoss SSD that I can get tomorrow
for $150ish. A Kingston is the same price, but not until the end of
next week. Good reviews on the Bestoss. I really missed the reviews on
the drive I got. Sigh.
READ REVIEWS FIRST. yeah right.... Only an approximation.
You should check the "SMART" info for the drive.
