Hi All,
On this bug I posted
xfce4-screensaver idle/lock failure after xscreensaver removal
due to orphaned autostart desktop entries
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2488676
The closed won't fix response was:
"dnf remove" are not expected to touch user directory. It
can happen that user needs to do some "cleanup" manually.
Am I being "blown off" or is this actually the case? If not
the sue, why lease the system entries too? It feels
like a blow off.
Yours in Confusion,

I took me five pages of questions and answers with ChatGPT
to narrow down the problem. Not funny to screw the user
like this.
It just occurred to me that if it in not "dnf remove's"
responsibility to remove thing out the user's directories,
why did it put them there when it did "dnf install"
in the first place.
This feels more and more like a blow off.
