Hello all,

What is the IronPython team's intention with respect to Python 2.X and
Python 3 ?

IronPython currently uses Python 2.4 as its reference implementation,
but now has some features from Python 2.5.

Is it the intention to continue tracking the progress of Python 2.X ?

When Python 3 arrives, will a separate branch of IronPython be created ?

Will development then track both the progress of Python 2.X *and* Python
3.X ?

(Even after Python 3.0 final has been released, Python 2.X will continue
to be developed and supported for some time.)

All the best,

Michael Foord
