Hi Devin, following up on the mail I sent Monday, CRC is available as a developer preview, you can get it from the install page of Openshift as a Laptop install: https://cloud.redhat.com/openshift/install
see the doc at https://cloud.redhat.com/openshift/install/crc/installer-provisioned for the download steps and https://code-ready.github.io/crc/ for the Getting Started. This is beta quality, not a final release, and based on recent OCP 4.1 bits, one of the simplest way to give feedback is on IRC #codeready channel found on Freenode, hope this helps, Daniel On Mon, Aug 26, 2019 at 11:27:13PM +0200, Daniel Veillard wrote: > Hi Devin, > > Indeed minishift could not technically work with Openshift 4.x > and CRC (CodeReady Containers) is the project the team has been > working on to provide instances running on laptops (Windows, macOs, Linux). > > Good timing, we don't have a public beta yet, but trying to get > it out ASAP ... like right now! > I will reply to this email as soon as it is available, with > instructions. > > thanks, > > Daniel > > On Mon, Aug 26, 2019 at 01:49:41PM -0700, Devin Vance wrote: > > Greetings, > > > > So, I'm looking to try out this CRC project for a simple dev/test > > environment (https://github.com/code-ready/crc).
