Ahh, that would explain it - I'm not using it as a Postfix content 
filter. It's being called as a milter using amavisd-milter 
http://amavisd-milter.sourceforge.net/
I guess Postfix isn't adding the received line until after the milter 
has had it's hands on it.

The milter I'm using appears to work, apart from the message ID 
problem that is.
