Gordan,

Thanks. rsel6-rootfs-gui-20130827-1.tar.gz has the latest date.
I am unclear as to how to merge it onto a working system. For
now the plan is:

1. Install rasp-v2-redsleeve-cli-3.0.img to a cf device.
2. Apply updates via yum.
3. Install the xorg packages.

I use Centos 6 on multiple machines and would like to have a

original rsel6 cli or gui images. Are there instructions or tutorials
covering the procedure to generate a gui version?

Older images are deprecated and shouldn't be used. If all you are trying to do is get Xorg up and running, you should be able to do something like:

yum install xorg-x11-server-Xorg \
xorg-x11-drv-fbdev \
xorg-x11-drv-evdev \
gnome-desktop

That should get you up and running with basic Xorg packages and you can yum install any further packages you require using yum.
