Older images are deprecated and shouldn't be used. If all you are trying
to do is get Xorg up and running, you should be able to do something like:
yum install xorg-x11-server-Xorg \
xorg-x11-drv-fbdev \
xorg-x11-drv-evdev \
gnome-desktop
That should get you up and running with basic Xorg packages and you can
yum install any further packages you require using yum.
