Hi All,

Some two months ago we had a lively discussion about RSEL 6.7

IIRC, the whole thing is complete whit the exception of Firefox.

where do we go from here?

AFAIAA, only Ffirefox and Thuderbird are still resisting attempts to
build them on RSEL6.

Thunderbird has been build, only Firefox is still resisting.

Good to hear that TB at least builds.

The possibilities I'm pondering at the moment are:

1) Does the el7 build of FF work on EL6? IIRC we had to so similar
with pixman. It's horrible as a solution, but may just be passable as
a workaround until we can figure out a better solution.

2) Install latest EL7 gcc into an EL6 chroot and try building the
upstream clean vanilla FF ESR sources with that and see if it gets
further.

Unfortunately, the earliest I am likely to have a few days to
spend on trying to make that work is some time in the 2nd half
of December. :-(
