Ooo, thank you for pointing that out. I totally missed that. :)
It may be worth cross-checking whether the same problem
is showing up in CentOS, and whether they have a solution.
I tried to install gnome/gdm from Centos armhfp repo, but it is just
not
there. They don't support graphics mode at all and the packages are
missing.
It's good to know we are still way ahead of them. :-)
