Hi all, OK first attempt to update uboot on Gordan's ex Guruplug was not a great success. Found an updated uboot - flashed onto the GP result 'bricked'
So crash learning expereince on openocd an a trip to GlobalScales site to get the original - net result right back where I started on Friday. Round 2: downlaoded the uboot source from its site, and attempted to compile it on a fedora VM. However, it needs an arm toolchain. So, somewhat chastened, can I build the uboot using an RPI or will it have to be a kirkwood based chip? The next issue is how to structure the install to make use of the 512MB internal RAM - It is a bit too big for a boot partition, but not really big enough for a home patition. Thoughts?
