As far as i know, there's no newer version of this package. It's not updated 
anymore since 2004 and there hasn't been any changes to make it work with a 
newer apache version. Can you maybe send me those patches? It might be useful 
to also mail the author of the package.. maybe he will release a new version 
based on your patches.
