No, Just a throw back to the older version of yum (circa EL5.2 from
memory), where "yum clean all" did not include cleaning the metadata.
WIthout knowing the version of EL the OP was using, I tend to default to
behaviour in older versions when offering suggestioned solutions.
So the above command should be "yum clean all&& yum clean expire-cache"? Im
just asking. B-)
No, if the OP is using a current updated version of EL5, "yum clean all"
will do the job.
