Hi All,

I note (http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/linkchecker/) that the linkchecker RPM hasn't been updated in some time (version 4.7). The current release is 5.1. Has anyone been working on a more recent version or knows when a more recent packaging might take place? I'll give it a shot but I imagine someone with a bit more skill would be able to achieve it with a lot less pain in a lot less time (-:

those pages at http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/ are not up to date, they should probably be taken down.

Oh dear. That's a shame. Thanks for the information.

Instead you should go to e.g. http://packages.sw.be/linkchecker/

(or configure yum or apt to use rpmforge).

Ah, it having been late on Friday I'd not actually gone yum searching rpmforge from the machine itself. We're now at 4.9.

You'll see that 4.9 is packaged.

Unfortunately the web developers (who weirdly seem to be working on the weekend) tell me that the issues we were seeing with 4.7 are apparently not solved by 4.9. It seems we still have a requirement for 5.1.

Therefore a 5.1 RPM is still required. If I get a working build I'll make it available unless someone beats me to it (-:
