We tested Scilab installer with Avast and Microsoft Essential and we had
no problem. It seems to be a problem with Norton.

Hi there,
Can't use Scilab 5.4.0 (Windows 7 - 64 bit) following message:
file libjvm.dll missing
causing a 'Wscilex.exe failed with error 126'.
After download my Norton software identified the missing file as a
virus threat '....Cloud.7...' and agressively deleted the file
(without the option to retain).
Advice much appreiated.
