For optimization issue (and more precisely for fitting parameters purpose), I'm thinking in using Dakota libraries (Sandia National Laboratory) in conjunction with Scilab and an external Finite Elements solver ; an interface has ever been developed by Yann Colette but I'll be interesting to share some feedback with the community : any advice on that issue (installation / use / and so on) ?
