atoms has SIVP on Windows but not on Mac for some reason.
AFAIK, SIVP uses TcL/Tk windows rather than Java ones. Now, TcL/Tk is
not supported on Mac (for some reason that could be found in the archives).
I am afraid that there is really no chance to run SIVP on Mac.
