Hello,

Great try ! It might be good to have a running Scilab on a desktop-class
ARM board.

Debian Jessie seems to ship a runnable Scilab for the ARM platform :
https://packages.debian.org/jessie/scilab-full-bin

Are you able to install Jessie packages on Ubuntu ?
