Hello Rafael,As just commented in the bug's thread, editvar is modeless: it fortunately does not pause Scilab. To prompt the user with editvar, an optional modal working should be implemented.
It would be rather a duplicate of x_dialog() job:
x_dialog("My multi-line text:", ["Hello" ; "Allô" ; "Hola" ; "Hej"])
