Thanks for your answer!

The idea was to do it all in scilab. I finally managed to get portaudio toolbox
working... but it does not let you record and play at the same time.

I finally cheated and added 1sec delay to mi equipment (digital recorder) and
put it in loopback mode, so with scilab i played a sound and then recorded the
delayed answer from de equipment. Is not what i wanted but it works.

I'm not sure that this fulfils your need,
but you can use the savewave() function to generate a .wav file,
then use any player to generate the output signal while recording with another
application.

https://help.scilab.org/docs/6.0.0/en_US/savewave.html
savewave - Save data into a sound wav
file.<https://help.scilab.org/docs/6.0.0/en_US/savewave.html>

Description. save x into a wav sound file. you can transform other sound files
into wav file with the sox program.

Hope this help
