Two years ago, a Discourse forum dedicated to Scilab was created and is available at https://scilab.discourse.group/. We believe that this solution is better suited for user-to-user communication, with the ability to write messages thanks to the power of Markdown (and edit them once published), use tags to sort threads, and facilitate information searches... Maintaining the mailing lists alongside the Discourse channel inevitably divided discussions and the community's attention. We have therefore decided to discontinue the mailing lists and promote the Discourse forum. Joining the Discourse forum is simple, and creating an account only takes a few seconds.
