I would like Maven to produce a log from which it would be possible to see what went wrong during the build if it failed (e.g., similar to Ant's, http://ant.apache.org/manual/listeners.html). Is there a way to do that (except redirecting stdout and stderr to a file)?
Also, I would like to send a different email after finishing the build, depending on whether the build succeeds or fails. How could I do that?
