Hi,
As specified in the docs on maven site I have installed the junit.jar in
$ANT_HOME/lib. But when I try to use maven jar goal the build fails and I
get the following exceptions messages :
java:compile:
[echo] Compiling to C:\mavendev\daven/target/classes
[javac] Compiling 1 source file to C:\mavendev\daven\target\classes
C:\mavendev\daven\src\java\suz\maventest\BoxTest.java:3: package
junit.framework
does not exist
import junit.framework.*;
Any ideas what might be going wrong here. I have tried to put junit.jar in
my CLASSPATH and my PATH also but doesn't seem to work. My ant works perfect
otherwise.
Thanks
Vikas

Absolutely, this is one of Maven's primary functions.
The user guide and other site documentation is a good place to start, and
you will also get some good information from the article references listed
on the web site and the Maven wiki.
Good luck!
Cheers,
Brett
