The Mevenide team is proud to announce an initial version 0.1 of mevenide-netbeans-grammar module for Netbeans. It should make the writing of maven related files easier by offering available taglibraries, elements, attributes..
The module provides code completion for:
- your project.xml file (currently POM version 3 only)
- your maven.xml and plugin.jelly files. Here you get static element and attribute completion for the jelly taglibraries and maven taglibraries. No dynamic content is currently supported, but plans are for adding ant task support and also the maven plugin taglibs.
The 0.1 release works and was tested with Netbeans 3.5.1. The 0.2 snapshot release works with the Netbeans 3.6 beta.
Known Issue: You have to copy the log4j jar (can be downloaded from apache.org) and put it into the $NETBEANS_HOME/lib/ext directory before attempting to install the module. NETBEANS_HOME is your Netbeans installation directory.
