I'll just nip this in the bud. If you're not a Maven committer the best place to put the plugin is somewhere you have access to it. We're not going to go through the process of making someone a committer for a plugin. It doesn't matter where plugins are developed anymore, they are easy to install and integrate into a Maven build. If you have a plugin you want to share it ultimately doesn't matter where it's developed and we would actually prefer not to host them here at Apache. -- jvz.
