Hi Jon, I've just sent a request to TheCortex. I've asked them if we could have a maven-certified 1.2.4 clover version. Then I'll get update the plugin.
It may be that the clover version override feature of the plugin is not working. Could you try modifying the project.xml of the clover plugin to reference version 1.2.4 and put your clover jar in your local repo?
