I am actually trying to work with the OS folks to get a direct link
going like we have for Apache and Codehaus. But the box is moving soon
so we're holding off.

Good question, I will add a sample POM on that page for projects that
don't use Maven to build. I know that Hani loves Maven so I'm shocked
there aren't Maven POMs everywhere :-) Hani even asked if we could come
up with a mascot so he could have a stuffed toy made in its image so he
could snuggle with it at night :-)

Sure, all we need is an URL to the upload bundle so anywhere is fine.
