I have done that.
I have also tried to do;
<postGoal name="plugin:install" >
<attainGoal name="plugin:deploy" />
</postGoal>
in the plug-in's maven.xml.
I am coming to the conclusion that there is some kind of bug involved here,
and that the Plugins can not be constructed in the same pass as they are
used.
