I am having problems with the artifact:deploy goals.
I have a repo set up like the following:
maven.repo.list=local
maven.repo.local=ftp://localhost
maven.repo.local has special meaning for maven
http://maven.apache.org/reference/user-guide.html#Behavioural_Properties
try to use some other name then "local" or "remote"
