Hi Yagmur, We have the same problem as you since we have a centralized Maven configuration and we are behind a firewall and the password is forced to be changed every 15 days so we didn't want to give Maven internet access from the workstation.
Our solution was to update the maven.jar, we replaced the remote repo from ibiblio to a local disk, and then I do the upload from the net to the central repo.
