Hi Tom, I have made a small GUI app which allow you to point to a general java project lib folder and then recursively resolve the jar files therein and whether they are properly versioned according do maven standards (you can edit the versioning info directly in the GUI). Then you can point to your maven repository and have the app copy all the jars to there in the versioned state and at the same time have it write a project.xml with dependency entries (based on a velocity template that you could easily modify). I just made it for my own ease of converting projects to maven but would be happy to send you the app as an eclipse project? If you are interested just let me know!
