Hi Ron- If the problem is the javac executable is being lost then:i would 
specifically call maven-compiler-plugin and set the configuration <executable> 
path to specific location of javac 
e.ghttp://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-compiler-plugin/examples/compile-using-different-jdk.html
