do NOT use maven 2.1.0 or 2.2.0

2.2.1 is safe, i would seriously consider going as far as 3.0.3 as it is
mostly a drop in replacement, with very few regressions and some serious
bugs fixed.

but do NOT use maven 2.1.0 or 2.2.0
