understand what's your question exactly.
Yes it is possible to deactivate profiles.
As for jenkins, in the "goals and options" box, just put:
-P !profile1,!profile2
Have you tried running mvn from the command line? If yes, then your
problem needs to be answered here. Otherwise, I would ask jenkins guys.
