The distributionManagement url is only used to construct relative links between different modules in a multi-module build. The actual absolute location is irrelevant for site:stage, you can use any dummy address, eg file://tmp/junk/ or the one you give below (did you try?). Evidently, you'll have to correct this once you want to really deploy the site.
