Hi, I followed http://maven.apache.org/guides/getting-started/maven-in-five-minutes.htmlin order to create my first Maven project. The installation was successful but when i try to download the dependencies I have some downloading activities but after a while the downlaoding stops and eventually there will be an error as the one below.
This is my home network and I don't have proxy, also part of the dependencies are being downloaded so the settings should be correct. On the page http://maven.apache.org/guides/getting-started/maven-in-five-minutes.html there is a text *If you have just installed Maven, it may take a while on the first run. This is because Maven is downloading the most recent artifacts (plugin jars and other files) into your local repository. You may also need to execute the command a couple of times before it succeeds. This is because the remote server may time out before your downloads are complete. Don't worry, there are ways to fix that. * But I tried 15-20 times same thing is happening. What could be the problem, do I need to set up something else? I am investigating this issue couple of days but I still can't find a solution.
