Hi Robert This was the whole file, and the column 13 was the ';' of the package declaration. In fact, I opened the java file with TextEdit (and presumably saved it as well) before compiling, and TextEdit may have changed something in a very bad way...

Normally that would be the line with the package (or comment or package Annotations, all possible) You copied only a part of the file, but there must have been an issue with the real first line.
