You can write your own ExecutionListener (you can extend this http://maven.apache.org/ref/3-LATEST/apidocs/org/apache/maven/execution/AbstractExecutionListener.html) or your own EventSpy (see http://maven.apache.org/ref/3-LATEST/apidocs/org/apache/maven/eventspy/AbstractEventSpy.html ).
