Hi Murthy,

I think it's important that you talk about things that you're comfortable with
yourself. The fact that you're asking for resources in the way you do sounds
like you're being sent on a quest in partly unknown territory, which may not be
a great starting point to present (but I might have gotten the wrong impression
here entirely, sorry if so). If you are still learning Maven while doing a
major conversion from Ant, or you are an expert Maven user but you're the only
one in your group, it may be worthwhile to get some expert consultancy so that
you can adopt some best practices and to help you look good as the person
driving this project.

When I guided my company from Ant to Maven, I did a lot of separate
presentations, some of these were specific for our situation, some of these
were generically about Maven. In the generic presentations I covered subjects
like this:

Build
        Lifecycle
        Goals
        Plugins
Dependency management
        Artifacts
        Dependencies
        Scopes
        Conflicts
Repositories
Versioning
Modules
Profiles

I would like to particularly call out "lifecycle" and "goals", since these
concepts are so very basic to Maven that they're easily overlooked, but they
are oh-so fundamental and at the same time so fundamentally different than Ant.
And it's probably also these concepts that make Maven so much more than just
"an Ant that does dependency management".

Good luck with your presentation!

Feel free to ask for more information!

Best regards, Sander.

P.S.: what's up with your footer?
